Why did he have to die at the end!?

Where was the action? The pacing was perfect, but I expected that one dude to kill them both and then murder 15-20 other people instead of just vanishing

History: The only one form his batch who didn't fully "form" Alcatraz was left for dead when AAHW and Nexus abandoned the lab where he was in the wake of a Resistance Assault. Escaping through left over AAHW grunts, Alcatraz was confronted by Haunted Face at the entrance and it attempted to Exterminate him, but failed due to unknown reasons. Alcatraz now wanders the Nevada wastes, searching for the demon.

10 play through's in, I'm able to take the dudes body when ever I want because I know it's mine, I love how these games are just one large circle and the shadow person from the first game who chases you in the hotel is the main protagonist
